A total of  769,004 people died of coronavirus worldwide in the  213 countries and territories since the virus emerged in Wuhan of China last December, according to latest data from worldometer.

So far, 21,617,761 coronavirus cases have been detected at 10:52 am till Sunday (GMT 05:52 am). Of them, 14,333,897 patients have been considered recovered, the source said.

Apart from this, the number of active cases are 6,514,860.

With the new tally around 24-hour, 5,647 patients died from coronavirus while 263,051 infections have been diagnosed, and 185,856 patients have made fully recovery.

Among the coronavirus affected countries, the US has gone up to 172,606 deaths, followed by Brazil with

107,297, Mexico 56,543, India 50,099, Italy 35,392, France 30,409, Iran 19,492, Russia 15,617, Indonesia 6,071 and Saudi Arabia 3,369 respectively, worldometer reported.
