Ex-OC Pradeep, 2 others being quizzed over Maj (retd) Sinha killing

A probe committee started quizzing three accused including former Teknaf Police Station OC Pradeep Kumar Das and others over their alleged involvement in killing of Maj (retd) Sinha Md Rashed Khan.
The four-member body formed by the home ministry is interrogating Pradeep, Inspector Liaqat Ali and Sub-inspector Nandadulal at Cox”s Bazar Jail gate at 11:00am on Monday, said Md Mokammel Hossain, superintendent of the district jai.
The probe committee also held a public hearing in Cox’s Bazar to know about the incident on Sunday.
On July 31, police shot dead retired Bangladesh Army major Sinha for allegedly obstructing police in their duties in Teknaf, Cox’s Bazar.
