SC bench officer sacked for misconduct

The Supreme Court authority has sacked a bench officer of the High Court on charges of misconduct.
Allegation against bench officer Muhammad Murshedul Hasan was found to be true prompting the authority concerned to go for action.
Supreme Court spokesperson Md Saifur Rahman issued a press release saying departmental case was filed against Murshedul over his misconduct in 2018.
Murshedul has been dismissed from the service under the directive of Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain, he said.
Murshedul is reportedly in jail for running an illegal narcotics business. But details as to misconduct could not be known as yet.
