Coronavirus death toll climbs to 54,004 in India

India has reported 54,004 deaths from coronavirus at 12:30 pm till Thursday (GMT 6:30am), according to latest data from worldometer.
So far, 2,837,749 corona cases have been diagnosed in the country till date, the source said.
Apart from this, 2,097,331 patients have been considered recovered.
Besides, the number of active cases are 686,414, the source said.
Among the active cases, 8,944 patients are in critical condition, worldometer reported.
With the fresh tally around 24-hour, 978 people died from coronavirus while 69,079 corona cases have been diagnosed, and 58,746 patients have been considered recovered.
