DU student rape: Charges framed against Mojnu

A Dhaka court on Wednesday framed charge against Md Majnu, the lone accused in the case of raping a Dhaka University female student in the Kurmitola area of the capital earlier this year.

A virtual court of Justice Begum Mosammat Quamrunnahar of the 7th Tribunal for Prevention of Women and Children Repression passed the order this noon.

Majnu was shown virtually present from jail during the charge sheet hearing. The accused claimed himself innocent after hearing the complaint against him.
