Khulna-6 MP Akhtaruzzaman tests Covid-19 positive

Akhtaruzzaman Babu, lawmaker from Khulna-6 constituency, has tested positive for coronavirus.

The MP himself confirmed the news on Saturday.

The ruling party lawmaker said that he gave the samples for Covid-19 test on Thursday and the test result came out positive on Friday.

 

“My health condition is now stable and is receiving treatment from my residence,” he said.

Akhtaruzzaman Babu urged the countrymen to pray for his speedy recovery.
