2 to die for killing freedom fighter in Natore

A Nator court on Monday sentenced two people to death for killing a freedom fighter in Baraigram upazila of Natore in 2002.
The condemned convicts are Torab Ali, son of Bahauddin Molla, of the upazila and Shamim, son of Polan Molla of Mohishbhanga village in the same upazila.
Judge of Natore Additional District and Sessions Judge Court Saifur Rahman Siddiqui handed down the verdict on Monday noon
According to the prosecution, victim Aynal Haque, chairman of Majgaon union parishad and also a freedom fighter, was killed by the convicts on March 29, 2002.
Later, victim’s sister-in-law Nazma Rahman filed a case against them in this regard.
