Coronavirus recovery rate has crossed 75 percent in the country as 1,753 more Covid-19 patients have made recovery in the last 24 hours till 8:00am on Saturday.
Thirty-six people died of Covid-19 across the country in the last 24 hours raising the total number of the deaths from disease to 5,129 across the country, said a press release from Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Saturday afternoon.
Another 1,106 coronavirus patients are found during the time, raising the total number of infections to 357,873.
Health authorities reported another 1,753 people to have recovered from the disease in a day, rising the total number of recoveries to 287,777.
“The recovery rate in Covid-19 disease has stood at 75.10 percent in the country,” the report said.
In the last 24 hours, 93 coronavirus testing laboratories across the country tested 10,765 samples.
Of the total sample tests, 10.27 percent tested positive in the past 24 hours, while 18.85 percent cases were detected from the total tests conducted so far, the release added.
Among the total infections, 75.10 percent patients have recovered, while 1.43 percent died so far since the first COVID-19 positive cases were reported in the country on March 8.
