The government has decided to take online classes of the newly-admitted students of class eleven from October 4 due to coronavirus.

The education boards have sent letters to the authorities of all colleges asking them to take necessary step in connection with holding online classes from October 4.

A letter signed by chairman of Dhaka Education Board Ziaul Haque asked college authorities to be prepared for taking classes online as classroom teaching is not possible at the moment due to Covid-19.

Meanwhile, a notification said that Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni will inaugurate online classes on October 4 at 10:00 am as the chief guest.

Deputy Minister for Education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury will also be present as the special guest on the occasion to be organised at Dhaka College.
