3 get life term for killing man in Khulna

A Khulna court on Tuesday sentenced three people to life term imprisonment for killing a man in Phultala area of Khulna in 2016.
The court also fined them Tk 20,000 each.
District and sessions court judge Md Saifuzzaman Hiro handed down the verdict this noon.
The convicts are Md Parvez, Kamal Hossain, Arifur Islam Dipu. Kamal and Arifur remain fugitive.
According to court statement, the convicts killed Ibrahim Biswas, son of Ismail Biswas, hailing from the area, over previous enmity and left the body in the septic tank of Baitur Rahmat Jame Mosque in Phultala Karikarpara area.
Later, the victim’s father filed a case against them with the police station in this connection.
