2 killed in Khulna road accident

Two people were killed in a collision between a passenger bus and an auto-rickshaw, locally known as Mahindra, in Dumuria upazila of Khulna on Thursday.
The deceased were identified as auto-rickshaw driver Aminul Islam, 55, and its passenger Mizanur Rahman Sheikh, 60, hailed from Dumuria upazila.
The Khulna-bound bus coming from Satkhira collided with the auto-rickshaw at Dumuria Bazar Mohila College area at 10 am, leaving three people seriously injured, Aminul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Dumuria upazila, said.
Later, Aminur and Mizanur were sent to Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) but they succumbed to their injuries on way to hospital.
The injured was admitted to KMCH in critical condition.
