The Language hero, was also Honorary Chief Consultant in the Department of Surgery at BIRDEM General Hospital until his death, breathed his last at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital around 9:15 am while undergoing treatment.

He was suffering from various diseases due to old age and the veteran doctor was admitted to the ICU in BIRDEM on September 30.
