Nur now sued under Digital Security Act

A student on hunger strike has filed a case against former Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) Vice-President (VP) Nurul Haque Nur under the Digital Security Act on Wednesday.
The case has been filed with the court of Dhaka Cyber Tribunal Judge As-Shams Jaglul Hossain around 12:30 pm.
Lawyer Hemayet Uddin Khan of the plaintiff gave this information to media.
According to the case statement, VP Nur posted the video from his Facebook ID around 2.30 pm on October 12 that was insulting, defamatory and offensive to the plaintiff.
