HC to decide MP Nixon’s anticipatory bail Monday

Faridpur-4 lawmaker Mujibur Rahman Nixon Chowdhury filed petition with the High Court seeking anticipatory bail in a case filed on charge of violating the election code of conduct during the Charbhadrasan Upazila Parishad by-election.
Nixon Chowdhury came up with the petition as he is facing a case for allegedly threatening Faridpur deputy commissioner and executive magistrate for arresting his supporters during the polls.
A division bench comprising Justice Sheikh Md Zakir Hossain and Justice KM Zahid Sarwar fixed the petition to be decided on Monday.
