BNP leader Mirza Abbas, wife catch Covid-19

BNP standing committee member Mirza Abbas and his wife Afroza Abbas, president of Nationalist Women’s Party, tested positive for COVID-19.
BNP chairperson’s press wing member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the news.
The leader and his wife gave their sample on Tuesday and the results came back positive for the virus on the same day, he said.
Both of them were receiving treatment from their residence on the advice of the doctor, he added.
Mirza Abbas and his wife Afroza Abbas had sought blessings from the people for quick recovery from the disease.
