Two Parbatya Chattagram Jana Sanghati Samiti (PCJSS) activists were shot dead by assailants in Garjanioa area at Wagga union of Rangamati’s Kaptai on Wednesday morning.

The deceased were identified as Subash Thanchangya, 45, and Dhananjay Thanchangya, 35, both of them hailing from the area.

According to local sources in the morning, a group of terrorists went to the victim’s house,woke them up, shot them and fled away immediately while Subash Thanchangya and Dhananjay Thanchangya were sleeping there, leaving them dead on the spot.

Confirming the news, Nasir Uddin, officer-in-charge (OC) of Kaptai police station, said that the bodies were sent to Rangamati Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsies.

The OC also said police are trying to nab killers in this connection.
