DU admission test in divisional cities, MCQ 40, written 40

The authorities of Dhaka University (DU) have brought changes in marks distribution for the admission tests of 2020-2021 academic session and decided to hold the exams in the divisional cities amid coronavirus pandemic.

Test marks have already been slashed to 100 from 200. Out of 100 marks, 20  will be added from results of SSC and HSC, and the remaining 80 (40 marks in MCQ, 40 marks in written) will be based on the admission test, DU admission committee confirmed.

The decisions were taken in the meeting of admission committee of Dhaka University on Monday morning.

 

University sources said decision has been taken to hold the admission test in the divisional cities of the country this year. The test will be evaluated on 100 marks, including MCQ, written and results of SSC, HSC examinations.

Deans of the concerned faculties will fix the time and subjective questions, the sources added.

However, though there was talk of reducing the number of seats in the meeting, there was no discussion about it, sources said.
