Country’s lowest temperature recorded 7.3˚C in Sreemangal

Country’s lowest temperature of 7.3 degrees Celsius was recorded in Moulvibazar’s Sreemangal upazila on Sunday (December 20).
In its regular forecast, the Met Office said the weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country.
Sreemangal weather office’s acting officer Anisur Rahman said, it is the lowest temperature in this running season. A mild cold wave is sweeping over Sreemangal.
“It may continue and spread over the adjacent regions,” the official said, adding that the temperature may fall slightly in the next couple of days.
The previous record low temperature was 2.8 degrees Celsius in Moulvibazar’s Sreemangal on Feb 4, 1968.
