The authorities of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia have decided to hold examinations conditionally.
Students of various years of Honours and Masters will have to contact their departments for taking part in the examinations to be started after winter vacation is over.
The university at academic council meeting chaired by Vice-Chancellor Prof Sheikh Abdus Salam took the decision on Wednesday.
At the end of the meeting, Registrar of the University Prof Abdul Latif disclosed the outcome.
As per condition, the students will have to arrange their accomodations in the nearby areas as the halls will be closed.
The university will go on a 10-day winter vacation starting from December 24. The offices will return to its function on January 4.
