Although the intensity of cold wave has decreased a bit, public sufferings remain unabated in many districts, especially in northern region.
The lowest temperature was recorded at 7.4 degree Celsius in Srimangal on Wednesday.
A mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Dinajpur, Panchgarh, Jashore, Chuadanga and Srimangle, Meteorological Department said.
The cold wave that started on December 18 is still going on.
According to Met office, in the next 24-hour starting from 9am, the day and night temperature may remain unchanged across the country.
Riverine area may see thick fog during midnight to morning and mild to moderate fog may occur other parts of the country.
The temperature may fall in the next four days.
