A cold wave is sweeping over six regions including Rangpur division on Saturday.
The lowest temperature was recorded at 7.7 degree Celsius in Tetulia of Panchagarh, a place of continuous lowest temperature in the last couple of days.
The mild cold wave which is sweeping over Rangpur division, Naogaon, Jashore, Chuadanga, Pabna and Srimangal, will continue for a few more days, said Meteorological Department.
The mercury may persist in the next 24-hour starting from 9 am on Saturday, Met office said.
A light to moderate fog may occur across the country during a period from midnight to morning. The night temperature may rise in the next three-day.
