Former Indian cricket captain and current BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly was discharged from a hospital in Kolkata.
Ganguly was quoted by ANI as saying, “I thank the doctors at the hospital for the treatment. I am absolutely fine.”
Ganguly was rushed to the Woodlands Hospital on January 2 after suffering a minor heart attack.
Ganguly underwent an angioplasty during his hospitalisation. Ganguly was due to be discharged on Wednesday, but had expressed his desire to stay in hospital for one more day.
Ganguly is expected to be monitored by medical experts at his home.
