Dr Meser Ahmed, expatriate Bangladeshi dentist and lyricist, died from coronavirus infections at a hospital in New York of USA on Monday night. He was 64.
Meser, hailing from Chanpur village in Mehendiganj upazila of Barishal, breathed his last at North Shore University Hospital while undergoing treatment.
Dr Meser, who was the President of the Bangladesh Dental Association in the United States, left behind his wife, two sons, two daughters and a host of well wishers to mourn his death.
He obtained his PhD from the Third Dental University of Russia after obtaining a degree from Dhaka Dental College.
