Kamalapur garment factory fire brought under control

A fire broke out at a garments factory near the BRTC bus depot in at Kamalapur area in the capital on Sunday morning.

Confirming the news, duty officer of Fire Service Headquarters Ershad Hossain said the fire broke out at the 6th floor of the building at 7:40 am.

On information, 10 units of fire service rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control at 9:00am.
The source of the fire was yet to be confirmed and no casualties had been reported so far, said Ershad.
