2 workers die in Bogura lift accident

Two workers died after lift of a 6-storey poultry farm collapsed in Sajapur area of Bogra’s Shajahanpur upazila on Wednesday morning.
The deceased were identified as Rashidul Islam, 19, son of Saiful Islam, hailing Panchagarh sadar upazila and Narayan Debdas, 25, son of Fagun Debdas, from Kamar Maria village in Boda upazila.
“The lift of Agro Industries Limited collapsed when the workers were on it, leaving them seriously injured,” said Alamgir Hossain, in-charge of the poultry farm.
Later, the injured were taken to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College in critical condition where duty doctor declared them dead, he said.
