3 killed in Barishal road crash

Three people were killed as a covered van hit a truck at Khanjapur area in Gaurnadi upazila of Barishal early Saturday.

The identities of the deceased could not be known yet.

Monirul Islam Buuiyan, officer-in-charge of Gaurnadi highway police station, confirmed the matter.
Monirul said that a Barishal-bound covered van hit a stranded truck, which was being repaired on the road, at 3:00am, leaving its driver and helper dead on the spot.
