Lockdown has seen schools once again closed and parents having to find ways to keep the kids entertained alongside homeschooling – and there are only so many Joe Wicks PE classes and games to keep kids busy.
Luckily, Chester Zoo is offering parents a helping hand, and hosting a live all-day online tour of the animal enclosures today! (Friday 5th February).
That includes appearances from popular animals including giraffes, tigers and penguins – and there’ll even be a chance to peek into the zoo’s impressive aquarium and learn about those fascinating marine creatures.
The livestream kicked off at 10am and will be running throughout the day until 1.30pm so there’s ample opportunity for the kids to get involved.
Don’t be disheartened if you can’t make one of the sessions – they will be available to watch on Chester Zoo’s Youtube channel too.
The livestream will be available on Chester Zoo’s Facebook page and it is of course free to watch. Last year the zoo hosted a similar event which included fun events such as watching the giraffes being fed, and getting a glimpse of the mischievous penguins.
