Rickshaw puller killed in city road crash

An identified rickshaw puller was killed after a microbus hit his rickshaw in Sarulia area of capital’s Demra on Thursday noon.
Details of the victim, 40, could not be known yet.
The microbus hit the rickshaw in front of Sarulia Ranimahal Hall at 12:30 pm, leaving him seriously injured, said Demra Zone fire service member Md Rashidul Haque.
Later, the injured were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where duty doctor declared him dead.
Inspector Md Bachchu Mia, in-charge of DMCH police outpost, said that the body has been kept at the hospital morgue for an autopsy.
