College student stabbed to death in Chattogram

A 21-year-old college student was stabbed to death by assailants in Anwara upazila of Chattogram on Friday night, police said on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Ashraf Chowdhury Emon, a second-year student of Diloara Zahan College and son of Md Abdul of Charfashion in Noakhali district.
Didarul Islam, officer-in-charge of Anwara Police Station, said the assailants brutally stabbed Ashraf near Ma Community Centre around 9.30 pm on Friday.
“A severely injured Ashraf was taken to Chittagong Medical College and Hospital, where doctors declared him dead,” said an assistant sub-inspector of Chittagong Medical College and Hospital police camp.
A probe has been ordered into the murder, police said.
