Mother, two children burned in blender explosion

A woman and her two children were burned in a blender explosion at a residential area in Munnu Textile Mill in Manikganj on Saturday evening.
The injured are Asma Begum (45), her son Arif Hossain (17) and daughter Sumaiya (7).
The accident took place at the residence of Ibrahim Hossain, husband of Asma, in-charge of the engineering section of the textile mill, on Saturday night.
The injured were immediately taken to a local hospital. Later, they were shifted to the burn unit of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) as their condition deteriorated.
