UP member shot dead in Rangamati

A union parishad member was gunned down by unidentified miscreants at the office of Upazila Nirbahi Officer in Baghaichhari Upazila of Rangamati on Wednesday noon.

The deceased was identified as Bijoy Chakma, 40, was a member of ward no.1 of Rupkar union of the upazila.

The miscreants entered into the office of UNO and shot the member at 12:45pm.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Shariful Islam confirmed the matter to media.
