Narsingdi upazila chairman dies of Covid-19

Md Safar Ali Bhuiyan, chairman of Narsingdi Sadar Upazila, died from coronavirus infections at a hospital in the capital on Monday night.
He breathed his last at city’s United Hospital around 8:30pm while undergoing treatment.
Safar’s nephew Md Yaqub Ali Bhuiyan, who is an Organizing Secretary of Sadar Upazila Jubo League and GS of Madhabdi College Student Council, confirmed the news to media.
He said the 78-year-old veteran leader was admitted to the Holy Family Hospital in Dhaka on March 9 with shortness of breath. Later, he was shifted to the ICU of United Hospital in the next day after his condition deteriorated.
