First Lady of Maldives Fazna Ahmed paid homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Thursday.
She along with First Lady of Bangladesh Rashida Hamid visited Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi 32 and placed a wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu.
Fazna Ahmed is one of the entourages to have accompanied her husband Maldives President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih in his ongoing visit to Bangladesh and participated in the celebration of birth centenary of Bangabandhu.
She also signed the visitor’s book kept at the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum.

The previous day, Maldives President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih paid tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, by placing wreath at the portrait.
He also visited Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi 32 and signed visitor’s book.
Sheikh Rehana, younger daughter of Bangabandhu and sister of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, was present there.
