Mild heat wave continues

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Sunday predicted mild heat wave that is sweeping over Khulna division and the regions of Dhaka, Faridpur, Madaripur, Gopalgonj, Rangamati, Noakhali and Feni will abate from some places.

Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rajshahi, Barishal, Dhaka, Khulna and Chattogram divisions, said a BMD bulletin issued here.

Day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country, it added.
