The health condition of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, who is undergoing treatment at coronary care unit (CCU) of Evercare Hospital, has improved slightly further.
The last pipe for taking out water from her lungs has been removed. As part of the physiotherapy, others help Khaleda Zia to walk a little every day. But the BNP chairperson is still not out of danger from post-Covid kidney complication. Physicians have decided to treat her for some days at the CCU due to rise of heartbeat.
One of the physicians of the medical team of Khaleda’s treamtment revealed this information while talking to journalist on Wednesday.
The BNP chairperson has been in hospital since April 27 as per the advice of her personal medical team. The team, however, treated her at Gulshan residence ‘Firoza’ after detecting Covid-19 infection.
