UP polls: One killed in clash between UP member candidates in Bhola

A man was shot dead in a clash between the supporters of two member candidates outside a polling station in Char Fasson upazila of Bola on Monday morning.

The deceased was identified as Monir, hailing from the area.

The incident took place outside the polling station at Ward No. 5 of Hazariganj Union around 11am.

 

Latikul Islam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Shashibhushan Police Station, confirmed the news.

The first phase election is progressing in 204 Union Parishads under 13 districts across the country on Monday.
