3 killed as car plunges into ditch in Munshiganj

Three people were killed as a private car plunged into a ditch in Gajaria upazila of Munshiganj early Thursday.
The identities of the deceased, two women and a man, could not be known yet.
The accident occurred around 8:30 am in the Alipura area of the upazila, said Bhaberchar Police Outpost In-Charge Kamal Uddin.
“When we arrived at the scene, we found the vehicle partially submerged in the ditch water,” said Kamal.
The police and the Fire Service recovered three bodies from the vehicle.
The bodies have been taken to the Bhaberchar Police Outpost, he said.
