20 Jamaat-Shibir men held in Chapainawabganj

Police arrested twenty leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatra Shibir in Atair area of Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila on Tuesday night.
The identities of the arrestees could not be known yet.
Chapainawabganj Sadar Police Station Officer-In-Charge (OC) Md Mojaffar Hossain confimed the matter.
He said “On information, the Jamaat-Shibir men were arrested while holding a clandestine meeting in the area”.
Later, Amit Kumar Pandey, Sub-Inspector (SI) of the police station, filed a case in this connection.
