Live on Facebook in Cumilla incident: Fayez gives confessional statement

Mohammad Fayez, who is charged under the Digital Security Act for going live on social media from Cumilla’s Nanua Dighir Par Puja mandap on October 13, gave his confessional statement before a magistrate on Friday.
Senior Judical Magistrate Mithila Jajan Nipa recorded his statement, said Khan Mohammad Rezwan, police super of CID, Cumilla district.
Later, the court sent Fayez to prison , according to the police official.
“Fayez confessed to a magistrate that he reached Nanua Dighir Par puja mandap in Cumilla city on October 13 morning hearing that the Holy Quran was placed there. Later, he spread it through Facebook Live.”
