Dhaka College students block Mirpur road demanding half bus fare

The students of Dhaka College blocked Mirpur Road for one and a half hours for half fare for students on buses.
The students later lifted their blockade at around 11am with a warning that they would go for a tough movement if half fare for students is not ensured by Saturday.
They started the demo in front of Dhaka College around 9:30am today.
The protestors were shouting slogans and putting stickers on a number of buses that read, “Students will pay half fare on public transport”.
According to the students, many students who use this bus route every day are not being charged half fare while being treated badly for asking about it.
