Journalist Riaz Uddin Ahmed at ICU

Former president of Jatiya Press Club Riaz Uddin Ahmed has been taken to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of United Hospital in the capital.
Earlier, he was admitted to the hospital this morning as his oxygen level has dropped.
The hospital coordinator Dr Fazle Rabbi confirmed the matter.
Riaz Uddin, also former president of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ), was infected with Covid-19 several days ago, family sources said.
Meanwhile, the senior journalist’s wife sought prayers from the countrymen for his quick recovery.
