Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader returned home on Sunday morning after 12 days of treatment at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in Dhaka.
The Awami League General Secretary Quader, who has been admitted to hospital with chest pain since December 14, was released from the hospital at around 9:30am.
Confirming the news, Professor Dr Atikur Rahman, chairman of the BSMMU’s respiratory medicine department and a member of the 10-member medical board formed for the minister’s treatment, said Quader was discharge this morning as he fully recovered.
