Actress Pori Moni appears before court

Popular actress Pori Moni has appeared before court in a drug case filed at Banani Police Station in the capital.
She appeared in the court at 12:15 pm on Sunday.
The case was scheduled to be heard in the court of Judge Nazrul Islam of Dhaka Special Judge’s Court 10 on the same day.
However, the proceedings of the lower court were closed on Sunday following the death of Ayubur Rahman, former general secretary of the Dhaka Bar Association. No charge hearing was held for this. The court fixed January 5 for the hearing of the charges.
Later, Pori Moni left the court at around 1:15 pm.
On August 4 last year, RAB raided Pori Moni’s house in the capital’s Banani. She was arrested from her home with a large quantity of drugs.
