Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders have congratulated the Bangladesh National Cricket Team as it secured a thumping eight-wicket victory against New Zealand in their first Test at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui.

Great way to start the New Year, in the #ShubornoJayanti of Bangladesh,” said Jake Lush McCrum, the Chief Executive Officer at Rajasthan Royals, in separate tweet.
Jake Lush McCrum also hailed Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Vikram Doraiswami for his role to connect India and Bangladesh.

An extremely special chapter has unfolded on Wednesday in Bangladesh cricket history as the Tigers toppled the number one ranked Test side to break New Zealand’s 17-match unbeaten run on home soil.
Bangladesh won the first Test at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui by eight wickets and lead the two-Test series 1-0.
