Jatrabari steel mill blast: Burn victim youth dies at SHNIBPS

A youth, who sustained burn injuries in an explosion at a steel mill in Dhaka’s Jatrabari area on Tuesday night, died at a hospital in the capital early Wednesday.
Md Shaheen, 20, with 96 percent injures died at Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery while undergoing treatment around 3:30am
Shaheen, a crane operator of Shahriar Steel Mills at Konapara area, came in contact with molten iron during the blast.
SM Aiyub Hossain, a resident surgeon of the institute, confirmed the matter.
Injured Akter Hossain, 50, and Mainuddin, 22, are undergoing treatment at the hospital.
