Cumilla city election on June 15

The election to Cumilla City Corporation (CCC) will be held on June 15 using electronic voting machines (EVMs) at all polling stations.
The election schedule was finalised in an EC meeting held with Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Habibul Awal in the chair on Monday.
EC Secretary Md Humayun Kabir announced the schedule after the meeting.
According to the schedule, the deadline for the submission of nomination papers is May 17, while the date for scrutinising nomination papers is May 19 and the last date for the withdrawal of candidature is May 26.
The election to 6 municipalities and 135 union parishads will be held in the same schedule, the EC Secretary said.
