EC to begin dialogue with political parties from July 17

The Election Commission (EC) will begin dialogue with the registered political parties from July 17 to July 31 ahead of the 12th Jatiya Sangsad Election.

Some 39 political parties, including the Awami League, the BNP,  are being invited for the dialogue.

Additional secretary Ashok Kumar Debnath at EC secretariat informed this while talking to journalists on Wednesday afternoon.

 

In reply to questions of journalist, he said there is no specific agenda for the dialogue.
