Six killed in Chawkbazar plastic factory fire

At least six people were killed in a fire that broke out at a plastic factory at Kamalbag of Chawkbazar area in Dhaka on Monday.
Identity of the victims could not be known immediately.
The fire that broke out at about 12:00 noon was brought under control after about two and a half hours, officials at the control room of the Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters said.
Fire service deputy assistant director Bazlur Rashid said that they found six charred bodies at the spot.
He said that 10 fire-fighting units worked on the spot to put out the fire.
The first fire-fighting unit reached the spot at about 12:10pm.
