Dhaka city polls schedule likely today

The Election Commission (EC) is likely to fix the election date of Dhaka North and South City Corporations today (Sunday).
Officials concerned earlier disclosed that the EC will hold a meeting in this regard on Sunday (December 22).
The officials have already submitted election proposals to the Commission. They, however, did not mention election date in the proposal. The date for election will be determined after the meeting, responsible officials of the EC informed media.
