Drug addict son kills parents in Jashore

A drug addict youth reportedly stabbed his parents to death in Ramkrishnapur village of Chowgacha upazila of Jashore on Wednesday morning.
The deceased were identified as Mahir Uddin and his wife Ayna Begum of the area.
Quoting locals, Rifat Khan, officer-in-charge of Chowgacha Police Station, said that drug addict Milon locked into a quarrel with his parents on Wednesday morning. At one stage of the quarrel, Milon stabbed his father and mother with sharp weapon, leaving both of them dead on the spot.
Later, local people chased the killer and caught him from nearby Rajapur village area, the OC said.
Police sent the dead bodies to Jashore General Hospital Morgue for autopsies, he added.
